My little sister graduates from high school tonight, and I wanted to get her something a little more thoughtful than just money, but that she would still actually want and use! I bought a roadside emergency kit for her a few weeks ago, and wanted something to go with it, but I couldn’t find anything, so I decided to make a personalized survival kit. It can go in her car, school bag, or suitcase when she comes home for the weekend.
I filled it with all the things that I remember needing an extra of at some point! An emergency $20, hair ties, antibacterial hand soap and wipes, lint roller, nail care kit, feminine products, chapstick, floss, and gum. I just Mod Podged scrapbook paper on the lid and sides, and voila; cute and practical gift!
